Why We Love Bernedoodles
The Bernedoodle is a mix between a Bernese Mountain dog or Bernedoodle and a Standard/Mini Poodle. Bernedoodles are a very laid back, friendly, and loyal breed. They generally have a wonderfully mellow nature but will still need exercise and fun activities to keep them busy! They love going on walks and being with others. With proper early socialization, they become absolutely fantastic family members.
Looks & Colors
Bernedoodles come in a variety of colors such as Black Tri, Bi-Black, and Phantoms. Here at Southern Doodle Co, we mainly breed Tri Bernedoodles, phantoms, phantom blue merles, and blue merle tris.
Size Expectations
Our mini Bernedoodles generally range from 13-16 inches at the shoulder and can weigh between 10-30 pounds. Our standard Bernedoodles weigh between 45-80+ pounds.
Temperament
The Bernedoodle is a very easy-going breed and typically very laid back. They are incredibly loving and fantastic with kids. They are social, gentle, and simply love being around their families!
